Lunch Challenge

It's not always easy to know what we want for the small, daily choices we face, let alone the bigger decisions in life. But, having a clear understanding of what you want isn't as elusive as you may think. You don't need to stay stuck trying to brainstorm answers or waiting for an epiphany. There's a set of skills and practices you can experience the very next time lunch rolls around.

What Is the Lunch Challenge?

The Lunch Challenge is a fun, easy way to practice the skills that bring you closer to knowing what you want in all areas of your life. It allows you to experience powerful, inner sources of information and clarity about your desires in ways that taking a class, attending a webinar, or reading a book won’t accomplish. The exercise involves three days of conscious attention to your hunger, your desires, and the process of investing in – and receiving – what you want.

What You Can Expect:

  • Increased awareness about your physical and emotional desires
  • Acknowledgement of the stories, beliefs, and attitudes that may be getting in your way
  • Increased understanding of your decision-making process
  • Strengthened sense of connection to–and honoring of–your inner guidance (i.e., the ability to trust yourself)
  • Increased experience of mindfulness and presence
  • A form of self-care that’s easily accessible and available to you everyday
  • Skills and techniques you can immediately apply to connecting with what you want in other areas of your life: relationships, vocation, health, spirituality, etc.

Most importantly, upon completion, you’ll have the experience — the concrete, felt experience– of accomplishment; you’ll know exactly what it feels like to go from hunger, … to desire, … to attainment and fulfillment. When’s the last time you felt, and were consciously aware, of the successful completion of this cycle? I realize I’m talking about lunch, but this is no small thing. Imagine what shifts could occur merely by having this felt experience, let alone what will happen once you apply the information you receive?

If you’re ready to get started, request a free copy of the Lunch Challenge Companion Guide.

The guide walks you through the 6-step process in detail. It includes a log sheet to record your thoughts and experiences, as well as a set of “cheat sheet” cards you can print out to remind you of the steps. The 15-page guide concludes with a “Supersize It” section that teaches you how to apply the Lunch Challenge lessons to other areas of your life.
